Partenit - A brief description

Partenit is located in the heart of th South coast of Crimea between Yalta and Alushta, at the foot of Bear mountain, at the opposite site of famous children health resort “Artek”, in the picturesque Partenit valley.

Climate:

The main ridge protects Southern coast from cold northern winds, therefore the climate here is dry and subtropical, similar to the Mediterranean climate - summer hot, dry, winter more rainy, than cold, spring often comes early, and autumn is usually dry. The holiday season starts from June and runs to the middle of October, but we recommend traveling no later than mid September to enjoy the best weather for sun bathing and swimming. This is also the best time to see some Black Sea dolphins who are regularly spotted near the coast. The Southern coast, owing to a combination of the sea air and mountains with a smell of a magnificent Crimean pine, is considered by many as having beneficial properties to well being and the mind.

Specialty of cuisine:

The fish dishes that are served here are truly delicious and very reasonably priced, while fresh local fruit and vegetables are on sale on nearly every corner. Genetically modified produce is unheard of here. For snacks, sweet and savoury dishes you will be catered for by the Tartar influence which is abundant in The Crimea. There is a weekly market, plus a late night supermarket in Partenit, restaurants, shops, beaches, evening entertainment and even it's own dolphinarium with some amazing spectacles on display.

As with most of the Crimea, the vineyards surrounding the area lend themselves to some fantastic wines, champagnes and Cognacs. There are many place that open their doors to tourists for wine sampling.

Entertainment:

Parenit offers its visitors all conditions for a luxurious resort. nevertheless, it stands competition to Yalta with its stunning nature, marvelous nearly 1km tented beach as well as its friendlier prices. Strolling along the park of sanatorium “Krim” down the sea coast(100metres) you will be able to marvel palms inhale aroma of rosemary, cypress and fig. You will be able to visit light-musical fountain and dolfinarium. Take a pleasure boat ride along Crimean coastal, with stops at Swallows Nest and other sightseeing points. Night disco clubs, restaurants cafes bars, snack and fruit stalls, souvenir counters and entertainment venues are at your disposal. There is an internet café at the post office building.
